Valentine's Day

My mom was having them try out their V-day outfits. She made D.'s dress, and P.'s vest, and A.'s parents gave I. the dress for her B-day, which I. had been saving to wear on V-day.
Julie directed me to a blog which had cool V-day hairstyles, so I did it for the girls.

We went to a temple sealing that day, so we had Aunt A. and Uncle D. babysit the kids, and Aunt A. took this picture for us after we got back and changed:

Before church the next day.

Children's Fairyland

Oakland, CA

We had to take this picture of me, because the last time I went here, I was like, 3 or 4, and my parents took a picture of me sitting in this exact chair:

Celebrations continue

I. making us some cupcakes from her new cupcake maker. I love how P.'s in the background with the cupcake mix package in his mouth.
Yum!

Her special week at school.

Baptism Day

January 31st, 2009
That's the dress my mom made me for my baptism in 1986. She did a good job preserving it!

Melissa Honey!

We were so happy that she came to visit. We had a Tea Party!
We played Pictionary Man, and I loved D.'s depiction of "soccer." Do you see the little whistle? And the cleats?
She handed out presents (she's like a gift fairy).
Isn't she gorgeous?
I love how my kids always call her by her first and last name. We love her!

Here We Are

More Christmas

P. got what he wanted...
and so did I!
My mom made P.'s scarf (the one D.'s wearing came form someone at church).

Baking.

I like the gingerbread woman's...umm...shirt.

I finally made it to Christmas!

On our way to carol to the Firemen

A.'s parents knew the right thing to get him.

Nutcraker and Family Picture

My super-awesome friend Laura gave us tickets to see a children's performance of The Nutcraker.
That's her son (he's blurry at the top).

Christmas Picture for the cards:

Christmas Tree Hunting throughout the years...

We found these pictures on the wall of the place from previous years:
2005
(look at little I.) 2006
(P. was already in the car, he was a little baby)
2007
(this is really humiliating)
2008
(A. took this one)
I wanted to have the owner in the picture for memories. We've been going since 1987 or so. About 20 years!

D.'s first time in the snow.
