It's about time

So let's see, how many years ago did I start this bracelet? I don't think it's been too long, but it had been at least a year and a half since the last time I had worked on it. It feels good to finally move on from a project that has been looming over my shoulders.

Bye and soccer

Saying goodbye to friends who were moving back to South Korea.

Aunt A came to watch D.'s soccer game! We were glad she could be there!

P. turned 2!

P. (more)

I don't even remember why we took this top picture. It was after church one day. Oh, I think it was because I was taking a pic of all the chickens and ducks that were walking around together at Solano Park (the pic didn't turn out well, or I would've put it up), and P. doesn't want anyone taking pictures unless he's in it. So I took this one.

The next picture is P. with Laura and her daughter. He loves them!

I took out the audio (because of my talking). Update: I'm getting really mad because this isn't the full video I tried to upload. Looks like there's nothing I can do about it. >:(

P.

P. put this bag over his shoulder and told us he was "Cookaka" (Chewbacca). I was really surprised and I thought it was funny that he is pretending to be other people/characters now.

Unfortunately, he fell asleep at the foot of our bed while watching TV. We're bad parents.

Notice the shoes, how he's not standing on the floor, the hat, no pants, AND he's brushing his teeth. He's really talented. :)

Picture Day (I.)

Her school picture turned out pretty well. I liked it a lot, except I wish she were smiling a little more. The green shirt worked well, and we used a purple background.

Picture Day (D.)

D.'s school picture turned out really great, and I think these colors are definitely "her colors."

P. really wanted to be in these pictures, too.

Soccer, hair, and cuteness

He wants to be like his big sister, D.

D.'s soccer team, The Purple Diamonds

I braided I.'s hair one night in rows (not tiny and skilled like cornrows, though), but in the morning it was crazy. So I put it back into a ponytail, which looked good, but you can't even see it in the pics. I'll have to do it again one day, and hopefully it won't go crazy.

I thought they were cute.

More b-day pics

Jeremy went, too.
Me and my wonderful husband!Me and my brother, "uncle G," who flew in from Utah to be there.

P. drove us home that night.

I really wish I would have taken pictures of all the friends who went there that night. But I was too busy talking to them to think about my camera. Hopefully I'll get some pictures from my family. Like the one where A. and I were blowing out our b-day candles. Oh, and my friend Amy was there with her family. She was my best friend when I was little, and also my maid of honor. And a friend from high school, and some friends from Davis, etc. My mom was thoughtful in inviting my best friends who would most likely not be able to come, and I'm glad to know that she invited them anyway. There were a couple of friends who, sadly, weren't invited, but I guess that's bound to happen when you don't make your own guest list! I'm thankful for all the effort, time, and money, my mom put into all of this.

I'm 30 years old now

Getting ready to leave for the surprise party my mom ended up throwing for me!

That's me with my college roommate, Lorelei. We lived in the "Spanish House" together in the Foreign Language Housing , although it was actually an apartment, and she wasn't in my actual room with me. :)

I felt so special that they would drive sooo long from Eureka to come celebrate my birthday. (Itamar also lived in the Foreign Language Housing, but in the "Portuguese House.")
Me and A. with my oldest brother and his wife.

Me and my brothers (the oldest is on the right, and then my younger brother is on the other side of me, and then my youngest brother is in the far left of the picture).

A.'s b-day and D.'s first soccer game

We put a candle in A.'s pizza to celebrate his 33rd b-day! (Sep 4)
