A new bed, and a moment of shame

We borrowed GH from my brother. I miss it.
P.'s new bed! It's an extendable bed from IKEA. So, it's at it's shortest stage right now (where it will stay the entire time we're in this tiny apartment).

A moment of desperation:
We were soooooo frustrated with the girl's naughty behavior one night, that we ran out of ideas. This was a stupid one, but we were at our wit's end. I wanted them to wake up feeling horrified that their stuffed animals were being held hostage.

Am I a bad parent?

So many great pictures to look at! What fun and it looks like you have been up to many fabulous activities! I love D's Valentine dress and can't believe that I somehow missed it at church--so pretty. And the animals taped to the door are awesome--how did your girls react? It's so hard to know what to do at your wits end, but it sounds like you used creativity to the last!

I pretty much knew D. would be upset, but A. said that when they got up in the morning, I. just laughed, and D. seeing I. laugh made her give a few uncomfortable laughs, but then later on in the day when she was trying to get them down and she was giving me a nasty attitude again, I told her how I had taken some stuffed animals to donate to DI. She got really angry and yelled at me, "How could you do that to a CHILD?!" over and over again. Then she'd switch to, "FORGIVE me, please FORGIVE me..." with her hands in a pleading motion. It was an emotionally charged day.
