Lice are horrible!!!

A lice infestation is worse than I ever thought it would be. I was always afraid of how creepy it would be to see little bugs on hair, but that wasn't too bad. Washing EVERYTHING was horrible, and here we are a week and a half after we first noticed it and we're finally finishing up. The stuff we couldn't wash is still in bags on our patio.

The HARDEST part was combing through the girls' hair. It took an average of 7 HOURS A DAY to comb everything out and pick out the nits. It would have been way easier if they had really short hair. Here's a more detailed description of the experience, from the friend who gave us lice:

After we saw 1 louse on P.'s hair, we decided to shave off his hair. Waaaaaaa! (me crying) I was devastated. (yes, yes, I know it'll grow back)
